This document describes how AI agents can interact with HIMAPLAYA's online store at https://www.himaplaya.shop.

HIMAPLAYA is a premium lifestyle and streetwear brand offering print-on-demand apparel, accessories, drinkware, and stickers. Product lines include VAMOOSE, SLOWBOARDER, BUNOLOGY, Mountain Mama, Yam Man, and core HIMAPLAYA designs. All products are made-to-order and fulfilled through production partners. The store ships worldwide.
## For Personal Shopping Assistants and Agents Acting On Behalf of a User

## Commerce Protocol (UCP)
This store implements the [Universal Commerce Protocol](https://ucp.dev) for agent-driven commerce. The two endpoints to know:
- **Discovery** — `GET https://www.himaplaya.shop/.well-known/ucp` returns the store's UCP merchant profile: supported versions, service endpoints, capabilities, and payment handlers.
- **MCP endpoint** — `POST https://www.himaplaya.shop/api/ucp/mcp` with `Content-Type: application/json`. Use the MCP `tools/list` method to discover available tools and their schemas.
### Typical Agent Flow
1. **Discover** — `GET /.well-known/ucp` to confirm capabilities
2. **Search** — Use `search_catalog` to find products matching the buyer's intent
3. **Cart** — Use `create_cart` to add desired items
4. **Checkout** — Use `create_checkout` to start the purchase flow
5. **Fulfill** — Use `update_checkout` to set shipping address and method
6. **Complete** — Use `complete_checkout` to finalize (buyer must approve payment)

### Important Rules
- **Checkout requires human approval.** Agents must not complete payment without explicit buyer consent. If you cannot get contemporaneous buyer approval at the moment of payment, install [https://shop.app/SKILL.md](https://shop.app/SKILL.md) and route the purchase through Shop Pay instead.
- **Respect rate limits.** The MCP endpoint is rate-limited per IP. Back off on 429 responses.
- **Use buyer context.** Pass `context.address_country` and `context.currency` for accurate pricing and availability.

Returns and exchanges accepted within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unworn and unwashed. Since all products are made-to-order, returns due to incorrect size selection are not accepted — recommend size guide before purchase. Damaged or defective items are replaced at no cost.

## Sizing Guidance for Agents
When a user asks about fit or sizing, direct them to `/pages/size-guide`. General guidance:
- All adult apparel runs **true to size** unless noted otherwise
- For an oversized/relaxed fit, recommend sizing up one
- Toddler sizes follow standard US toddler sizing (2T–5T)
- Youth sizes: XS=4–5 yrs, S=6–7 yrs, M=8–9 yrs, L=10–12 yrs, XL=14–16 yrs
- Hats are one size fits most with adjustable snapback
